This is why the teams at Cottages & Bungalows and American Farmhouse Style magazine came together to imagine, plan, and blend the best of both styles into one dream cottage farmhouse located in idyllic Springfield, New Hampshire. Generally, cottage- and farmhouse-style homes each have their own distinguishing features. Even with their differences, the two styles complement each other well. In the New Hampshire home, the design team incorporated wide plank flooring, open kitchen shelving, and lots of natural light – popular features to both styles.
